I wear Warm 4 or 5 (depending on season) and Cardamom is a perfect match. I wanted a more convenient product for travel or touch-ups. The formula is non-drying and blends so well with a flat-top brush and I use a press/stipple/blend technique that seems to make my skin look airbrushed. I make sure my skin is well prepared and hydrated. It works well over my SPF products. I have combo-dry skin that is blemish prone and this has not broken me out.
I got this foundation in 3 colors so I could use the lighter Sesame as highlighter, darker Malt as contour, and Nutmeg as mid-tone base. I had tried the loose powder samples 1st to color match. My undertone blends well with olive, beige, neutral, and the darker cools so the recommended color tone matches with the Sesame, Nutmeg, and Malt all worked great. Texture is smooth but not chalky. Lasts all day. Will definitely be purchasing again!
I love Alima pure been wearing the satin matte foundation loose powder for years and my skin was pimple free for so long... until I tried this pressed foundation :( I wanted to love it so much!! I usually wear warm 3 in loose powder and the color suggestion was good for me although a tad light I put on the bronzer from Alima pure and complexion looked great!!! I was loving this pressed foundation but soon after starting to use it I noticed pimples and clogged pores everywhere and now that I've switched back to the loose my pimples are already going away. So sad idk what's in it that's the culprit but am extra sad because I'm past the return time interval so got this product I can't use and wasted money on. Sigh
I’ll be 50 soon but still have the occasional breakout, and dark circles under my eyes due to allergies. This really covers my flaws without looking like I’ve got too much on. And it seems to stay put and still look great for far longer without having to touch up. Highly recommend.
I love this pressed foundation. It goes on smoothly with good coverage. It makes my skin look natural and fresh, not cakey.
