This is my first soirée into loose eyeshadow (which can be messy and finicky) and let me tell you, the learning curve was worth it! This is a great shadow! I’m only giving this 4 stars because I was a little surprised by the shade when it arrived. It is much darker than it appears online, and the undertone is decidedly... blueish? Since it’s taupe I expected it to be quite a cool (maybe silvery or grey) medium brown. But instead of silver/grey it reads very blue/green on my eyes when I use it. It’s still lovely, but I meant for this as an “everyday” eye shadow... and not exactly as a “I want to feel like a modern mermaid” shadow. All of this to say, I’ll definitely be trying a different shade with my next order. The color pay off is great, it blends well, and I feel good about what I’m putting on my face.
I bought the Mahogany shade to use as a brow powder almost 2 years ago, and there's no sign of running out any time soon! It's wonderful as a brow powder. Lasts the whole day for me and looks really natural (I have chocolate brown hair). I absolutely have no plans on getting a different brow powder as long as Alima Pure keep making this/in this shade! :)
I'll make this short and sweet. I have tried many a mineral makeup brand and Alima has proved to be one of the best, all the way around. Can't go wrong! Thank you for such great products.
i am excited to still be sble ti get mineral loose powder eyeshadows. It does seem a little see through for the colors I chose. i still like them but i wanted to be honest.
I finally found a smooth mineral powder with plenty of color. It Goes on so smoothly and leaves the perfect amount of color. Love “Breathless” for an everyday color and the “Black” is perfect for lining with a brush!
