How To Find Your Pressed Foundation Shade

How To Find Your Pressed Foundation Shade

We've received many questions about which shade of  Pressed Foundation with Rosehip Antioxidant Complex  to choose based on the color of  Satin Matte Foundation  you currently wear, so we thought we'd share our recommendations.  Just a little note before we get to the fun stuff.  The pressed foundation and loose foundation have very distinct characteristics as a result of how they are made and how they wear, which gives them different color progressions.  Due to the sheer, light-weight nature of our pressed foundation its colors are more flexible allowing them to work well for multiple skin tones.  Pretty cool, huh?

We'll be adding new colors to round out the line, so these first 11 shades are the starting point for this product.  Click anywhere on the chart below to get your shade, and we'd love to hear from you about how the colors worked out!

OK. Now I’m confused. I emailed privately about color comparison of loose vs. pressed powder for a Neutral 3.0. I was told Cardamon. Now, the chart says Nutmeg. What’s the scoop?

Thanks.

So, what is the benefit of the compressed powder over the loose powder? Do you use both? The compressed would be easy to carry with you and less messy. How do they differ in coverage? I currently wear Cool 3 Satin Matte.
Thanks, Rhonda

I am a new first time Alima customer. I ordered the Birch pressed powder and love how it compliments my fair skin with freckles. By the way, I am 53 yrs young.
