Introducing Destinations Eyes and Face – Limited Edition Makeup Collection Holiday 2013
Holiday travel can be a hassle, but what waits on the other end makes it more than worth the trouble. Spending the holiday with friends and family is a treat no matter where you need to travel.
Alima Pure’s new limited edition color collection for Holiday 2013, Destinations, makes creating holiday makeup looks easy, whether you are traveling or having guests come to you. Named for some of our favorite holiday travel destinations, the four mineral eyeshadows lend themselves to creating a myriad of looks, while the two face makeup products (including a brand new and exciting hybrid product) are the perfect complement.
With these four eyeshadows, you can create a subtle look to wear around the family table, or a dramatic look to ring in the new year, as well as a variety of looks for every day in between.
- New Orleans is a pearly beige-gold.
- Juneau is an icy blue-green with golden shimmer.
- Taos is a velvety red-plum matte.
- Nashville is a smoky bronze shimmer.
This face makeup collection, packaged in our signature pink Alima Pure bag, is the debut of a new product for us: Face Radiance Powder! Designed to be a hybrid of blush, bronzer, shimmer powder and finishing powder, Face Radiance Powder can be used all over for subtle color, or layered on cheeks or eyes to provide distinct color.
- Sitka Luminous Shimmer Blush is a bright peach that is nearly matte, but with a delicate shimmer finish.
- Sedona Face Radiance Powder is a light, peachy bronze with a soft, radiant pearl finish.
How to Wear the Destinations Collection
Family Thanksgiving Look
Apply New Orleans shadow from lashes to brows with the #37 Eye Blending Brush. Using the #39 Large Shadow Brush, add some Nashville to the outer corner of the eye and in the crease. With a #31 Fine Liner Brush, smudge a little Taos or Nashville along the upper lash line. Put Sitka on the apples of the cheeks with the #17 Blush Brush, and finish with your favorite lip color.
Holiday Party Look
With the #37 Brush, apply New Orleans from crease to brow. Use the #39 Brush to apply Juneau to the lid, up to the crease. Again with the #39, blend Taos into the outer corner of each eye, extending to slightly above the crease. Apply Nashville to the upper lash line with a dampened #33 Angle Liner Brow Brush. Smudge a little New Orleans under the lower lash line with the #31 Brush. Using the #7 Half Moon Brush, sweep Sedona Face Radiance Powder along cheekbones, forehead, and any exposed body parts that you wish to give a little extra color. With the #17 Brush, apply Sedona to the apples of the cheeks. Complete the look with the lip color of your choice.
