Loose Mineral Eyeshadow

- Alima Pure
I bought two different colors of this eye shadow... the color Brown Sugar is truly gorgeous and performs great. But the color Camelia, not so much. had to return it, and unfortunately I'll only be getting a store credit rather than a refund, since I opened/tested it. In the pot it's such a lovely pink, but applied dry it's so sheer it's nearly invisible, even on my very pale skin. Used wet? Don't bother, the addition of water makes it turn WHITE after it dries... a chalky and splotchy white, not a pretty white. Due to the unpredictable performance of these shadows, I will only risk buying another if I can find them at a shop that offers a more liberal return policy.
I really love the loose mineral pigment shadows by Alima pure. Bramble and bone have been staples of mine for years. Just added Fawn to the collection. Nice dose of healthy peachy tan to liven up the lids. Goes on really easily and blends so nicely. ❤️
Great eyeshadow the quality is excellent, I love the natural glow it gives.
I purchased Glow and Taupe in the pearl finish and expected them to be just that, a “pearl-like” finish. The photos of the products looked beautiful. But they were insanely glittery- I can actually see bits of glitter on my face like you'd get from touching a child’s school craft (Or using a much less expensive product). I will likely end up throwing these products away as they make me look ridiculous. I also purchased the matte shadows in Black Violet and Bramble- bramble had no color payoff and both left a powdery finish that blended poorly and looked old fashioned.
as always the colors delight me.
