We're turning things to gold this spring with a golden-bronze wash of color across the lid, rich gold liner, and even an extra helping of glowing Highlighter to enliven the skin from those winter blues. Gold strikes the perfect balance between bold color and deep smoky shades, and you can play with it in unexpected places for a look that is equal parts soft and edgy.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Get the Look:
Start with a sheer, even layer of Pressed Foundation with Rosehip Antioxidant Complex blended outward from the nose with the Foundation Brush to even the skin tone. Ranga is wearing Pressed Foundation with Rosehip Antioxidant Complex in Nutmeg. For targeted spot coverage, use the Concealer Brush.
Next, add Highlighter to the cheekbones, brow bone, inner corner of the eye, and the Cupid’s bow with the Allover Shadow Brush. The Cupid’s Bow is the ideal place to add a touch of lightness to the skin. Ranga is wearing Highlighter in Whisper.
Layer Pearluster Eyeshadow in Camel onto the eyelid from lash line to crease with the Allover Shadow Brush. Use a dampened Precision Angle Brush to line the upper and lower lashlines with more Camel. This will add extra dimension and a bold metallic sheen to complement your glowing cheeks and the color of your eyes. Extend Camel past the outer edge of your eye for winged liner, and soften it with the Contour Shadow Brush.
Use the dampened Precision Angle Brush to accentuate your lips with Pearluster Eyeshadow in Camel just at the Cupid’s bow, and the edge of bottom lip directly beneath the Cupid's Bow. The gold accentuates the color and shape of your lips, while complementing the overall golden tone of your look.
