Giving Spotlight: Luvable Dog Rescue
Welcome to the third chapter of our Holiday Giving series! Through December 17th, we’ll be supporting Luvable Dog Rescue with a $5 donation for each Holiday Set purchased.
Luvable Dog Rescue, based in Eugene, OR, was established in 1999, and has saved thousands of dogs. While they rescue all breeds and mixes, many of Luvable’s dogs have special needs or are harder to place, such as pregnant dogs, new mothers with puppies, senior dogs, Pit Bulls or Chihuahuas. Luvable’s practice of “compassion action” welcomes all dogs who need a loving home.
Speaking of loving homes, Luvable Dog Rescue also stands out for its colorful, cozy dog cottages and 55 acres of hiking trails--the perfect place for dogs to relax, recover, and be part of the pack. With a committed, full-time paid staff, dogs are able to receive special attention, medical care (they even have a maternity ward!), and plenty of safe space to roam and play. As “adoption specialists,” Luvable’s staff are deeply committed to finding the right match between a dog and a new home. They also support a low-cost local spay/neuter program.
