The Winter Edit

Dear east coast friends: congratulations on surviving the Bomb Cyclone! We know your winter skin is probably eager for moisture and a little extra glow this time of year, so we’re here with our favorite tips for boosting your winter foundation coverage and livening up your look until the parka season is over.

Smooth + Prime

1. Extend Coverage

If you’re oily, or oily in some places and feeling rather dry in others, try Smooth + Prime on the shine-prone zones to help your foundation last longer. If you find yourself especially dry this time of year, opt for extra moisture with Liquid Silk Foundation, applied sparingly, and step up the coverage in targeted areas with Cream Concealer. Apply a sheer layer of Satin Finishing Powder over your Cream Concealer and blend well with the Highlighter Brush to set your makeup.

2. Get Your Glow Back

Radiant Finishing Powder is one of our secret weapons for brightening up dull winter skin. This versatile product can be used as sculpting powder, eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, or an all-over layer of soft focus glow. Apply it with our Soft Focus Brush for a barely-there, but brightened finish.

Peony Lip Tint

3. Add Color

We know that when it’s dark and chilly during your morning routine, the last thing you want to do is add steps to your makeup look when you could be cozy in bed. A compromise? We’d suggest a bright Lip Tint in Peony or a swipe of bright eyeshadow in Siren to help wake you up until that morning coffee kicks in. Just the slightest pop of color can instantly boost your mood, and with natural, fresh-faced foundation coverage, the look is an instant classic.
