We may be biased, but we think Alima Pure has the absolute best customers in the world! (And you come to us from all around the world!) We want to thank you this holiday season with a little present or two.
First, every order placed between November 27th and December 25th will receive a lovely little holiday "Kiss Stick," in a beautiful soft red shade that looks good on everyone. Although it isn't nearly as bright as one, we've named this pretty little shade "Holly Berry" in honor of the season. This Kiss Stick isn't the same formula as the ones we featured last holiday season, but instead a glossier version of our regular lip balms. We would love to hear how you feel about the formula when you try it!
Second, every order over $50 (before shipping and after any discounts) between now and December 25 will receive a "Best of 2008" set of samples. This package includes deluxe samples of nine of the most popular eye shadows from our special collections released in 2008. The samples come in our cute little bird-topped sample jars, but are generously filled to last you much longer than a regular sample.
The shades in this set are
Introducing Alima Pure's newest addition...(drumroll)...our retractable foundation brush! It took a while for the manufacturer to get this just the way we wanted it, but we think it was well worth the wait. This beautiful brush is Alima-bronze on the outside, with black, super-soft, man-made bristles inside and our adorable bird on the end. Tuck it into a purse or travel bag so that you can take your foundation brush with you without a mess. Pre-load it with foundation before you go for an instant touch-up. What we love about it (besides the obvious) is that you can control the bristles to make the brush good for more than just foundation application. If you slip the metal collar all the way down, you have a full brush, perfect for a sheer application of foundation, but also nice for Satin Finishing Powder, Luminous Shimmer Powder, or even Blush or Bronzer. If you only pull the collar half the way down, you have tighter bristles, for a slightly heavier foundation application (without the clouds of powder a loosely bristled brush can create), and more control around the contours of the face. Priced the same as our regular #25 Foundation Brush, this gorgeous little side-kick comes to you with an extra surprise this month.
Fête: a lavish party or celebration. Alima Pure Fête: a gleaming all-over shimmer powder perfect for everything from lavish parties to intimate celebrations. With your purchase of our new Retractable Brush, you will receive a 10 gram jar of our Limited Edition Shimmer Powder in Fête, a soft coppery shimmer with just enough gleam to make you glow. Wear it on your cheekbones or on your shoulders, but be sure to put it on and celebrate! Offer good through December 25th.
We're honored that Natural Solutions Magazine has selected 2 Alima Pure products to win their 2008 'Beauty With a Conscience' awards:

Le Bon Marché, in Paris, is considered by many aficionados to be the most exclusive department store in the world. The store is stunningly gorgeous, and they carry some of the loveliest merchandise you can find anywhere. And now, it's even a little more beautiful, at least in our humble opinion. Alima Pure is available at Le Bon Marché! We stopped in on our recent trip, and were delighted to see our lovely little jars in such a sophisticated setting.
You'll find the Alima Pure corner in the natural cosmetics department. So on your next trip to Paris, between fabulous meals and sightseeing, stop by Le Bon Marché and get yourself a little something that you know you'll use!
If passed, the law would require small cosmetics companies to pay thousands of dollars a year in registration fees and comply with burdensome paperwork that would serve only to put them out of business.
Alima Pure supports reasonable laws that protect consumers and regulate cosmetic chemical safety. But when the compliance hoops become too burdensome nobody benefits except the big brand cosmetics companies with their crack legal teams and vast resources. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.
