We get lots of queries for skincare recommendations, and there are some fantastic ones out there (Talulah, for example), but one of my favorites doesn't come in a jar.
Last year after my surgery, I faced the humbling process of getting back into shape. Getting onto the elliptical trainer was the first embarrasment. Of course no one was paying much attention to me, but after 10 minutes I was ready to curl up on the sofa with a good book and a cup of tea. Yoga class? Wow. Vinyassa yoga meant a push-up and downward dog as a 'rest' between poses. Seriously.
But after a few weeks of first alternating between the two and then sometimes doing both on the same day (okay, and sometimes sleeping in) I began to notice fabulous changes in my skin tone, along with the other expected benefits. My skin literally seemed to be glowing! It was like I had a fantastic facial, a perfect diet and a good night's sleep all at the same time.
