I love the subtle highlight this gives. It doesn’t look fake and blends in really easily. Has not caused any breakouts either.
Was really hoping this would be one of those more simple, “grown up” highlighters that didn’t look like you’d spilled glitter all over your cheekbones. I’m disappointed by the sparklyliness of both this product and the eyeshadows. I love what Alina is doing socially and sustainably - just wish their products weren’t so shimmery!
I have this shade in Lumina and love it - this is the reason behind why people have been complimenting me saying that my skin has been so glowy during pregnancy. I'd love to try the Rose Gold shade next, but I've had this jar for almost 2 years and I can't see me running out for at least another year.. I really do wish Alima Pure would do tiny pouches to test out the shades. I hate wasting products and it definitely prevents me from trying out different shades since I have to commit to a full size jar each time.
Great highlight for sensitive skin. Does not break me out and the color is perfect with just the right amount of shimmer!
It’s buildable. I love it because it’s not super glittery AT ALL. And really it just makes my skin look like it’s glowing from being well moisturized. Very natural. I use a fluffy kabuki brush and dust it lightly over my satin matte foundation, and then I use a matte blush last over the top, then a setting spray. I’ve found that putting the highlighter on prior to blush looks much more natural because there isn’t a sparkle to the pink and just makes it look like my normal skin is glowing with some flush to it. It can however go from natural to strobing if you layer it. I do sometimes put some on my finger and highlight my cheekbones very lightly with it. All around I really love it and use it as a finishing powder
