Walking around downtown Portland over the weekend, there they were--the first cherry blossoms of spring! That makes it the perfect time to introduce our new collection for Spring 2013, the Hanami Collection. Hanami translates to “flower viewing,” but in Japan, it most commonly refers to cherry blossom viewing. Participating in Hanami can be anything from a stroll through a park to an elaborate evening picnic under lighted trees. Although Hanami originated in Japan, cities around the world are creating their own Cherry Blossom or Hanami festivals.
The latest installment of our 3 for $30 Eyeshadow Collections are now available, and they are just right for gift-giving on a budget. Do you have a flower-lover on your list? What about someone who craves coffee? Or someone stricken with the urge to travel the globe? Let your gift of mineral makeup illustrate that you know what is close to their heart!
Flower Bouquet is a collection of three of our floral named shadows. Soft pink, matte Daphne pairs beautifully with the sweet blue-purple tones of Pearluster Viola. Finish the look with the nearly-black Satin Matte Eyeliner in Black Violet. This collection is stunning on both green and brown eyes!
Coffee Break combines the beautiful peachy tones of Luminous Shimmer Chai with the deeper bronze of Pearluster Cappuccino. Satin Matte Eyeliner in Espresso, always a favorite, completes the look. Great on eyes of any color, this trio is especially gorgeous with blue eyes.
Exotic Getaway gives a girl glamorous options! These three Luminous Shimmer Shadows can be worn in pairings, or all three at once. Apply Paris all over the eye area, then choose from Milan or Martinique for the crease, and to use damp as a liner. Don't limit yourself to just one, use Milan in the crease and line with Martinique or vice-versa. Because this collection includes neutrals and a purple-ish toned shadow, it is perfect for any eye color!
