Alima Pure Spotlight: Naturally Gorgeous and Environmentally Friendly Makeup

At Alima Pure, it is part of Our Commitment to keep the Earth beautiful, too. We work hard to ensure all of our operations are as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. In fact, we continue to look for green alternatives to the standard plastics used in basic cosmetic packaging. That’s why we are so proud to renew our partnership with CarbonFund.org and the B Corporation as part of our continuing efforts to preserve the environment and give back to the community we live in.

Much like the mineral makeup that we create from simple, natural ingredients, Alima’s sustainability efforts include reducing our operational carbon footprint by maintaining energy-efficient manufacturing processes, using wind-powered electricity and printing on recycled materials. To remain carbon neutral, we offset 100% of our corporate carbon emissions through contributions to CarbonFund.org to support energy efficiency, renewable energy and forestry projects around the world. In fact, we just celebrated our fifth year as a CarbonFree® Business Partner. To commemorate this amazing milestone, Carbonfund.org planted 50 trees in our honor!

Alima has been a B Corp certified company since December 2008, and we are in the process of renewing our certification this year! Stayed tuned to learn the latest results of our B Impact Report, and where we fall among fellow B Corp companies.

In addition to CarbonFund.org and B Corporation, Alima is also a member of 1% for the Planet, Leaping Bunny and Germany’s highest standard for beauty the BDIH. We strongly believe that our dedication to product purity and operational sustainability sets us apart as a leader in the natural cosmetics industry.
