Our Spring Blush Crush: Leigh

Early this spring, we did a photo shoot featuring lovely model Sarah at a local rug and textile company, Christiane Millinger Oriental Rugs and Textiles.  We were so enchanted with the way Sarah's coloring combined with her fresh, spring makeup look and the gorgeous rug behind her, that we just couldn't resist showcasing her makeup look, which features one of our favorite blushes for spring--Leigh Luminous Shimmer Blush.

We think Leigh is the perfect pink blush!  The hint of peachiness keeps it from being too cool, and the perfectly subtle copper shimmer adds a highlight to the cheeks.  Best of all, it looks beautiful on every skin we've seen it on. Truly pale beauties (foundation in levels 0 and 1) might want to consider applying it with the #23 Kitten Brush for sheer application.

A little about the lovely Sarah. She is an accomplished baker who also loves to sew.  The pediatrics nurse from Portland recently moved cross-country to attend the nurse practioner program at Columbia University in New York. The photo shoot took place only weeks before Sarah's wedding, and when Sarah discovered that photographer Joni Kabana had just returned from Sicily, she was thrilled to hear Joni's recommendations for restaurants and places to stay.

In addition to the gorgeous, peachy-pink Leigh, Sarah is wearing Neutral 3 Satin Matte Foundation and Keiko Satin Finishing Powder.  On her eyes we used Luminous Shimmer Shadows in Glow as a highlight above the crease, Brown Sugar in the crease and Leone on the lid.  Espresso Satin Matte Eyeliner lines her eyes, while Blond Satin Matte Eyeshadow was the perfect shade to shape and define her brows.  We finished the look with Sweet Pea Organic Nourishing Lipbalm.
