Holiday shopping can be a challenge. Everyone dreams of giving a gift that will bring tears of joy to the eyes of the receiver; or at least make their list of favorite gifts. Ideas for such wonderful gifts can be a little tricky to come by, so in the spirit of helpfulness, we assembled a few Alima Pure staffers and asked them some holiday gift questions. Perhaps one of their answers will inspire you to give the best gift ever!
What is on your wish-list this holiday season?
Candice: A watch.
Brian: Tickets to watch the (University of Oregon) Ducks in the Fiesta Bowl, new jeans and a Macy's Gift Card.
Portia: Presser feet for my refurbished sewing machine. (We'll bet that's one that you didn't think of, savvy reader!)
Amanda: Winning lottery ticket!
Dea: A puppy. Specifically a gray-haired, blue-eyed Weimaraner.
Matt: A ping-pong table.
Hannah: A long weekend trip to the mountains or the coast would be great.
Terresa: A warmer winter coat.
Sara: Frequent flyer miles to go towards a plane ticket to visit some dear friends.
What is the best gift idea you have for someone this year, and who is it?
Candice: A hand-made memory photo book for my mom.
Brian: Alima Pure for all the ladies in my family!
Portia: I'm making all my friends and family custom snow-globes.
Amanda: A winning lottery ticket for my fiance, Kyle. (We wonder, how is she going to know it is a winning ticket??)
Matt: A set of luggage for my mom.
Hannah: Pinterest has inspired me to get crafty this year, so I plan to make most of the gifts I give...terrariums, baked goods, art, etc. I found a Star Wars cookie jar for my boyfriend who loves to bake, and equally loves Star Wars.
Terresa: Well, I can't say, because I'm pretty sure she reads this, but it is an "experience" for a good friend.
Sara: I've been teasing my parents that I'm giving them a puppy. We'll see what happens.
What was the best, most meaningful or most surprising gift you have ever received?
Candice: Tickets to go see my favorite band (The Foo Fighters) in Vancouver, B.C.
Brian: First row tickets to see the Portland Trailblazers.
Portia: When I was little, I got a kitten named Lulu for Christmas.
Amanda: My puppy Mongo was the best early Christmas gift! (We agree, he is adorable!)
Matt: My BMX bike when I was 10.
Hannah: For Christmas of 2000 I got my horse...it is a hard present to top.
Sara: It's so hard to choose. I received my great-grandmother's china last year from my aunt. That was pretty special.
You may be noticing a theme here, pets and tickets seem to be memorable and treasured, unless of course you are a 10-year-old boy, when you can't go wrong with a bike!
Now for a little Alima Pure gifting advice. What is your must-have Alima Pure item for the holidays?

Brian: Natural Organic Nourishing Lipbalm for those chapped winter lips!
Portia: The Black Tie Gala - Face collection, because they are perfect for all of my holiday events!
Amanda: The Black Tie Gala - Eyes collection, because it is only available for a limited time and I gotta have it.
Dea: Cranberry Organic Nourishing Lipbalm, because it provides the perfect red lips for the season!
Matt: Alima Pure Eyeshadows, because my mom loves 'em!
Hannah: Fig Organic Nourishing Lipbalm is my go-to holiday lip color. It is the perfect Fall/Winter color that looks good on everyone. Many of my friends got this for Christmas last year!
Terresa: Leone Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow, because it glams up any other shadows you care to wear!
Sara: Keiko Satin Finishing Powder, hands down. Our Satin Finishing Powder and the #21 Buff Brush are my go-to gifts.
