Isn't it amazing?

Alima Pure Before and After Photos When Alicia first walked into the photo shoot, we thought it would almost be a waste of time to apply make up to her. Although she isn't a professional model, just the roommate of one of our employees, she is clearly a very beautiful girl. Putting makeup on her seemed a little like "gilding the lily." And we thought that you, our readers and customers, might feel as if we were going the route of traditional cosmetics companies, who show their products on gorgeous models in an attempt to increase sales because, well, who doesn't want to look like that?

But sometime after the photo shoot, someone accidentally opened one of the "before" shots of Alicia. We were amazed. Although there is no denying how beautiful she is without a stitch of makeup, we couldn't believe what a difference just a few Alima Pure products made.

That got us thinking, so we looked back at some of our other "before" shots. (Unfortunately, we weren't diligent about doing "before" shots at every photo shoot!) Sure enough, we also had before and after shots of Kelly and Melissa, two more of our Naturally Gorgeous women. And so we have presented them here, on our "Amazing" page for you to enjoy.  The details about what we used on each of them are also found on that page.

I like the “Amazing” series with before and after shots. The models all look naturally beautiful (and thank you doing one with the Asian model).

I’m full of hope that I have finally found a line of cosmetics that I can love. I’ve been trying the samples of the Satin Matte Foundation, and have narrowed it down to 2 shades. Both colors are a much improved match for my skin tone and color depth (very fair), than anything I’ve used before. And, it seems worth mentioning that I have used numerous lines of very high end products in the past, with compromised satisfaction. In addition to providing a great match for my skin color, this foundation looks and feels good. Another important consideration for me, is the ingredients used in Alima cosmetics. Alima meets my personal need for all my skin care products to be gluten free, as well as free from such things as Bismuth Oxychloride. I look forward with great hope that I have finally found a cosmetic line that is not a “settle for” product.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with my purchase. I bought a groupon (or something like that) to try your products, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back for more when I run out!

I love Mayene’s ideas for other photos, but I am really glad you have posted any photos at all! I think all of the models you have used have been beautiful before the make-up, and you have enhanced their beauty fantastically. I love your make-up and your philosophy. I would have never thought I would feel like this about a make-up company, but I really am a fan for life!

Wow, they look great! And how lovely to see a woman with silver hair, she’s absolutely stunning! Well, I’ve been wearing Alima since 2006… No other minerals even come close to Alima’s quality and performance. I also find that while most minerals look good at first and then either wear off or turn into a blotchy, shiny mess, Alima looks better and better as the hours go by. Can’t beat that. :)

I love these! As a designer, I’ve worked in industries where photo retouching was requested and/or required … but I’m so proud to be an Alima Pure customer and user now (since February of this year, I believe).

As a person who struggled hard with blemishes and oily skin at certain periods growing up, I would love to see “Before & After” photos with Alima makeup models in two other situations:

1) Persons with a little bit more blemishes (since I know some girls and ladies hunt for the makeup that will cover up a bump or blemish caused by everyday or occasional stress and other factors)

2) How makeup looks after 8 hours, no personal retouching — I’d love for other people to see how makeup lasts throughout and after a typical workday.

: )
