About Makeup and Daughters - Part 2

In the last post, we covered foundation and blush for the younger makeup user, or for the "I want to look very natural" wearer of any age. In this post, we'll finish the look.

For a subtle look we used Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow in Chai on Natalie's eyes from her lashes to brows. To keep it soft, rather than a heavier, more opaque shimmer, we applied it with the #37 Eye Blending Brush. Then we applied Pearluster Eyeshadow in Mocha on the lid, concentrating the color along the lash line and blending it upwards. For this purpose, we used the #36 Pointed Crease Brush because its pointed tip makes it easy to use along the lash-line and the densely packed bristles apply the color a little heavier. This look is soft enough for every day and quick to apply because it doesn't require an eyeliner.

For the finishing touch, we applied our Organic Nourishing Lip Balm in Rhubarb. The whole look takes under 10 minutes to apply and gives a polished yet natural look.

I love the natural look. Last week I bought my first Alima product-Onyx eyeliner and I really like it. I ave an angle brush to apply it. I was nervous about it not staying on, but it does. It is a natural, soft looking eyeliner.

Next I would like to try your foundation it looks very pretty on her. I am nervous about getting the right color though- the salon that carries your makeup in Salem doesn’t do the best job at matching colors and customizing it.

If you have any store location ideas about where to go to try on your product in Salem, Oregon I would like to know.
