Introducing Neutral 3.5

The customers spoke, and we listened! It has become clear to us, over the years, that the shade difference between our Satin Matte Foundation in Neutral 2 and Neutral 3 is rather small, while the difference between Neutral 3 and Neutral 4 is definitely larger. If we were talking about a shade other than Neutral 3, it wouldn't be too difficult for us to just reformulate Neutral 3 to be a little bit darker, but considering that it is one of our very best-selling shades, that seemed a bit unfair to our loyal customers. So we've decided to split the difference! We created a new shade, now known as Neutral 3.5, that is half-way between Neutral 3 and Neutral 4. If you have purchased Alima Pure from one of our retailers who carries our products with Spa names, this new shade is the same as Wheat. If you have been a Custom Blend customer, ordering 50% Neutral 3 and 50% Neutral 4, you will now be able to order the same shade, named Neutral 3.5.

The difference between Beige 2 and Beige 3 is the normal difference between shades, so we won’t be adding something between those. We had a larger than usual jump between Neutral 3 and Neutral 4, and very, very small difference between Neutral 2 and Neutral 3. Normally we would have just darkened Neutral 3 to the place it needed to be, but so many people wear it that it would have created havoc for too many customers. Neutral 3.5 makes sure existing customers can still have their best match, but new customers will find the appropriate difference between shades.

AWESOME! I ordered some foundation samples and the one that matched my skin tone was Neutral 3. However, I thought if it was just a little bit darker it would be my perfect match.

Now I can order a sample of Neutral 3.5 and 4, compare and get the full size of the perfect match :D

What about the same thing for the difference between Beige 2 and 3?
